Yes it’s that time of year again! So Russel Crowe’s the biggest South Sydney Rabbitohs fan?

Happy Rugby League! We’re guessing this post won’t mean a lot to most of our international readers, but to many here in Oz - especially in NSW, Qld, and a smattering in Victoria (hello Melbourne Storm supporters) - things are hotting up for the finals of the ARL. Meaning its time for our annual post from Darren “Jack” Corner – the longboard riding South Sydney Rabbitohs super supporter. 

Jack has been backing the Bunnies since the day he was born (his aunty lives next door to Redfern Oval), and he rides a full quiver of Souths themed boards, drives multiple Souths themed vehicles, and rips in the Old Guys divisions at the Bondi Longboarders.

Of course he’s convinced the Bunnies could go all the way this year, and while they’ve made the Top 8 for 2022 and are currently sitting at 7th on the ladder, no team has ever won the title from outside the Top 4. But if anyone’s going to do it it’ll be the 115-year-old mighty Rabbitoh’s eh Jack!

Settle back for the Festival of the Boot over the coming weeks – and lord help us if the Rabbitohs win, Jack and Russell and Albo win be painting Southside Sydney red, and green.
