Honolulu: Featuring celebrated surf photographer Tommy Pierucki, the Terrace of Modern Art (TOMA) returns to Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger on Saturday, November 23, 2019. The event will also have a surprise celebrity musician performing that will make the evening extra special.
The pool deck adjacent to Hawaiian Aroma Caffe at the new lifestyle hotel will be transformed into an outdoor art gallery overlooking Waikiki. Guests can meet the artist in person and enjoy handcrafted drinks, delicious bites and a live DJ. The first 100 guests will receive a swag bag with sponsor goodies.
“We created TOMA to celebrate artists who draw their inspiration from the beach,” said Jonathan Rotmensch, owner of Hawaiian Aroma Caffe and TOMA presenter. “Each artist brings a unique perspective to TOMA – but the ocean unites us all and creates a truly special vibe for our guests.”
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Tommy Pierucki art sold that night will be donated to AccesSurf Hawaii, a water-based nonprofit charity organization that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for people with a disability.
TOMA is free and open to the public. Valet parking is available at the hotel ($6 for 4 hours). Want to make a weekend out of it? Check the Breakfast Package at Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger and take the elevator home; kama`aina rates also available!
