From the Surfrider Foundation:

Last weekend, more than 1,500 surfers, swimmers and community members on the Surf Coast paddled out together in a powerful show of unity to oppose the Federal Government’s plans to open 2.5 million hectares of our Southern Seas to multinational gas corporations.

From micro-groms to elders in the community, people from all walks of life came together to remind our government that these waters are not just profit-making zones - they are where we surf, swim, connect and feel at home.

That energy matters. And right now, there’s one more step for our impact to be truly felt.

WHAT’S NEXT?
