“Hi folks, hope you're all safe and well during these times. Happy to let you all know it's just been announced that Taiwan is planning to reopen its borders for international travellers from October 1st."

 See article here

“I've also spoken to people I know in the Taiwan Tourism Bureau and they say this date will be brought forward, for specific countries (likely Australia and NZ), if Taiwan is included in any 'travel bubble' -although there have been no press releases, as this is just a concept at the moment.

“I'll keep you all up to date and post more info as I get it. As such, we'll be accepting no-deposit bookings - with the full amount payable 30 days prior to arrival. If anything Covoid relate rears its head within this 30 day period we'll refund the full amount of your payment, minus a US$50 handling fee.

“To date Taiwan has had a total of only 441 cases with 7 deaths. The government got onto it really early here. Also helps that Taiwan has one of the best medical systems in the world too!”
