"Sur la planche" (On the Surfboard), La Femme live

La Femme does new wave surf rock, trippy French style, with lo-fi production, hazy vocals and dinky synths. They’ve toured The States and they’re quite big in Europe in an undergroundy type of way.

The surf culture influence comes from the band’s founders, Sacha and Marlon, who were raised in Biarritz, and played together there in a 60s-themed rock band.
