News from Brian Tucker: The SOUL Longboard Club hosted the 15th Annual Victorian Old Mal and Logger Titles which were held at Point Impossible on Saturday 29th June in perfect waist to chest-high waves. A big day of surfing was ahead of us.
First in the water was the Men's Logger and Tim Edwards (Point Lonsdale) took the win ahead of Tom Fahey (Mornington Peninsula).
In the Women's Kelly Goddard (Geelong) was the standout surfer ahead of Mel Renton-Wright (Ocean Grove).
Then it was Old Mal time. In the Over 45s and Tim Edwards again took the win ahead of Grant Price (Fairhaven).
In the Under 45s Tom Fahey was the standout surfer taking the honours ahead of Lachy Fletcher (Ocean Grove).
SOUL President Lachy Fletcher said he was rapt in how the day went and thanked everyone for supporting the event.
