Paddle out for Phyllis O’Donell – Nov. 30 at Kirra

From Surfing Australia: Join us as we celebrate the life of Phyllis O’Donell, surfing’s first-ever world champion who inspired and empowered generations.

* Date: 30th November
* Location: Kirra Beach, meeting in front of Kirra Surf Club
* Time: Meet at 9:50 AM for a 10:00 AM ceremony start (QLD time)

Please bring your own pink flower to the memorial paddle out. 

For those who can’t join us in person, we encourage communities far and wide to organize their own paddle out at the same time to honour Phyllis.
