Like ice with that?
No Covid in NZ but plenty of Corona.
27 July 20
A beautiful day Saturday in Sumner, Christchurch, and we kicked off at 8:30 in the chilly 8-degree waters of Scarborough Beach.
We saw a stylish display of traditional longboarding, long line-ups of logs and waist-high glassy sliders.
The contest was followed by BLUES, an exhibition Filippa Edgehill at Le Strange Gallery.
We then moved over to the Village Knees Up Party presented by Corona Ligera with unforgettable musical performances by There’s a Tuesday, Arjuna Oakes and sending off the night with Mini Simmons.
Now for the Sunday competition and the waves have turned on!
