“Got my hands on the board, it’s fabulous! Setting it up now for this weekend - thanks for this, I am REALLY excited!” so said Michael Nesteroff on taking delivery of his spanking Nettleton Surfboards Multiply this week – yay!
And it’s such a great buzz every issue to be able to phone a random Aussie reader and tell them they just won a beautiful big surfboard.
“It’s just not what you’re expecting to hear, this is just incredible really! Every issue I look at those boards and winners and think ‘look at those lucky buggers haha!’”
Michael has been surfing Mona Vale and Newport on Sydney’s Northern Beaches for 50 plus years, also more recently at Narrabeen and Curl Curl with friends.
“Having something like this happen, winning this beautiful board, it really gives you a push! I mean . . . whoopee!”
Whoopee indeed! Sean Nettleton created the Multiply a few years back with Belinda Baggs and it’s the most versatile board in his range of models. Belinda wanted a longboard she could travel with and be confident it would work in all conditions – noseride, turn and trim with speed – and after a few boards and some tweaking the Multiply was born. Peeling points or punchy beachbreaks this board adapts and gives the rider full confidence. Over to you Michael, enjoy.
