“My Beach” – the Surf Punks

One and a half minutes from 1983. And Morning of the Earth it’s not:  “My sun . . . my sand . . . my surf . . . go home!” 

The Surf Punks were formed in 1976 by Malibu locals Dennis Dragon and Drew Steele. Dragon was the son of symphony conductor Carmen Dragon, and his uncle was Darryl Dragon from the middle-of-the-road duo Captain & Tennille - who’d previously been the drummer with the Byrds and the Beach Boys. Wonder what they made of this?
