La Femme does new wave surf rock, trippy French style, with lo-fi production, hazy vocals and pulsing synths.

They’ve toured The States and they’re quite big in Europe in an undergroundy type of way. The band members are deliberately shrouded in mystery and they hide their faces in their head-scratching videos.

The surf culture influence comes from the band’s founders, Sacha and Marlon, who were raised in Biarritz and played together there in a 60s-themed rock band.
