Patented Process 

The Pure Humic and Fulvic products I supply are not extracted from paleo deposits of decomposed vegetative matter using leaching.  These products are extracted by a patented ultra-filtration system.  This means that this Pure Fulvic and Humic is as natural as it is in these ancient deposits.  Other Humic substances offered globally are extracted by acid and chemical and heat leaching, which deprives them of their unique properties.

You may not be aware that Fulvic can exist in short or long chain molecules often described as low or higher weight molecular substances LMWHS * (short chain molecules are biologically more active).  Humic is a long chain molecule and while still active is more stable than short chain.

The separation of short chain Fulvic molecules from all long chain Humic substances is very difficult as the long chain molecules mimic the short chain molecules.  My colleagues have completed this separation successfully a long time ago, using their patented process.  Our Pure Fulvic contains only short chain or low weight molecular product. 

Because of its small size, our Pure Fulvic is able to penetrate not only the membrane of mitochondria inside living cells but also the brain blood barrier.  Additionally, my colleagues can add selected substances to the Fulvic to be carried through to the cell membranes. 

Fulvic Description: 

We have developed 4 criteria that correlate to the quality of LMWHS * (Low Molecular Weight Humic Substances), and these criteria are used as measures of quality control in the production of our pure Fulvic.  The 4 criteria that indicate the quality of a product containing LMWHS substances are:

1. Percentage by weight
2. Our propriety ratio formula
3. Total Salts & Salt Index
4. The pH level

Our pure Fulvic typical analysis:

1. Percent of LMWHS* by weight = 3.1%
2. Our propriety ratio formula = 20.0
3. Total Salts = 17.0 mS/cm
4. Salt Index (Salts / %HS) = 5.5
5. pH = 5.7

Percentage by weight

The percentage by weight is an important criterion in determining the quantity of Humic substances in a product.  Naturally higher percentages are preferable.  Due to continuing improvements made in production, our pure Fulvic has currently a minimum of 3.1% LMWHS by weight. 

Ratio formula 

Our propriety ratio formula is determined by comparing the amount of blue light absorbed by a sample of Humic substances to the amount of yellow-orange light absorbed.

The higher ratio, the smaller and more bioactive are the molecules.  High ratio Humic substances, like LMWHS including Fulvic acids, have yellow-orange red colours that appear pure and bright. 

The higher ratios confirm the presence of the smaller sized & more bioactive molecules of Humic substances, hence the term low molecular weight. 

Low ratio Humic substances tend to have colours that are dull and greyish reddish brown.  These heavier molecules are found in the Humic acid (HA) and humin fractions of Humic substances, and they are much less biologically active than the LMWHS.

Our ratio of pure Fulvic is 20.0 or higher.  The LMWHS in our pure Fulvic is compared to the following laboratory standards from the IHSS (International Humic Substances Society) to ensure the high standards met or exceeded. 

IHSS Peat Fulvic Acid Standard tested to our propriety ratio formula = 14.0 IHSS Leonhardites Humic Acid Standard tested to our propriety ratio formula = 4.5

Total Salts and Salt Index

The total salts measure uses militiamen's/cm and it is a technical measure of salinity.  The salt index measures the salts as a percentage of Humic substances.

The lower the total salts and the salt index, the purer the quality of the product.  Our pure Fulvic has a total salts measure of 17.0 mS/cm, and a salt index of 5.5

High salt levels are a common result of using a base-acid chemical extraction method.  Fulvic acids are LMWHS that have been extracted using the alkaline - acid chemical procedures; thus, are soluble at pH 2.

Our pure Fulvic also has a low salt index since the extraction of the LMWHS is performed by biology and physics, instead of using chemicals, acids, and heat.  Our pure Fulvic contains all LMWHS and not just the fraction soluble at pH 2 (Fulvic acids).

pH

The pH level of our pure Fulvic is between 5.7 and 5.9 and this reflects the naturally slight acidic nature of LMWHS. An acceptable level should be between pH 4.0 – 9.0. pH levels.  Outside of that range are too acidic or alkaline to be directly consumed.

All four criteria should be taken into consideration when determining the quality of a product purporting to contain Humic substances, especially Fulvic acid.  It is our belief that any product containing Fulvic acid should disclose these technical parameters for the benefit of the consumer.
