Tina has been everywhere this week of course, but it’s mostly been the recent stuff. Here she is live from 1970 cutting it up with the Ikettes – with Ike stalking around looking mean (great bandleader, shit of a man).

Take You Higher was originally recorded by Sly and the Family Stone, but this a driving version. RIP Tina, you diamond, thanks for the music.
