Tom Woods has been one of our favourite surf photographers for many many years, and we’ve run several full portfolios of his work in print in the mag going back a decade or more, and his artful action shots have featured in publications in Australia and around the world.
He’s quite the tech head but also a real artist with a camera, and now he’s put together a free mini course to share his knowledge, along with a long form course if you’d like to get further into it.
Says Tom: “I’m so excited to help you in your journey to becoming the best water photographer possible. I am opening up my knowledge base gained over 17 years as a paid water photographer in multiple areas of surf photography, commercial photography, editorial and advertising, but more importantly having a fun life using a water housing as a tool.
“Whether you are here to improve your skills as an enthusiast photographer or want to turn it into a full time career then I am committed to getting you achieving your goals and dreams. I owe a lot of the success and happiness in my life to the skills I’ve learnt through this craft and now its time for me to share with you.”
