Everyday People – Playing For Change

16 December 25

The great “we got to live together” song by Sly and the Family Stone from 1968 – reworked by Playing For Change.

Sly and the Family Stone was the first major group to include black and white men and women, with music that was a melting pot of jazz, psychedelic rock, doo-wop, soul and funk.

Arrested Development had a huge hit sampling Everyday People in the ‘90s, and this version features Turnaround Arts students alongside their Turnaround Artists including Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Paula Abdul, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Banks, Keb' Mo, Forest Whitaker, and many more performing this forever-timely song and message.
