The Cape May–Lewes Ferry is a ferry system in the US that traverses a 17-mile crossing of the Delaware Bay to connect New Jersey. It constitutes a portion of U.S. Route 9, and is the final crossing of the waterway before it meets the Atlantic Ocean.
Says the excitable Ben Gravy: “Biggest and best ferry wave I’ve ever seen! Today is historic for us! Not only did we just score super fun surf on the Outer Banks, but on the way home we committed to charging the ferry wave. Today was the biggest ones that I've ever witnessed. Stoked for the hurricane to pass by New Jersey & bring some nuts surf!”
IT’S A 12-MINUTE VID AND TRUTH BE KNOWN THE WAVE ITSELF IS A BIT OF AN ANTICLIMAX, BUT THE WHOLE TRIP IS FUN – WATCH IT HERE
