CHRISTIAN SCORES THE CARABINE CUSTOM

“You’re kidding I’ve finally won one! But it always happens to someone else haha!”  Turns out 59-year-old Christian Kernot from Bronte has been a subscriber to this mag for many, many years and he was kinda incredulous when we phoned to tell him he’d just won the Carabine custom longboard in our subscriber draw. “It’s finally come around haha!”
A dad to twin 15-year-old boys, Christian is a content writer and he moved to Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs from London back when he was 20. “I immediately started surfing and have lived and surfed all around the eastern beaches ever since. And I just can’t believe I’ve finally won the subscriber board! I’ve admired the Carabine Shakey model when I’ve seen them in the mag over the years. So that’s what I’ve actually won, really?”
Well yes you have mate. Or Shane Hornby and his crew have offered to make this issue’s winner a full custom board if that tickles your fancy.
