ALL NEW WAVES IN LUXURY IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Wednesday, 14 June 2017

Kavieng Harbour, New Ireland Province, Papua New Guinea. PNG Surfaris has announced the addition to it's fleet of an all-new luxury catamaran: The PNG Explorer II "Ultimate One".

U1 is a 72-foot Craig Looms designed tri-deck wave piercing catamaran in full commercial survey built by Q-West New Zealand at a cost of 6.6 million dollars. U1 is a combination of speed, performance and economy that comes with a 2000NM range allowing access in total luxury to all new surf zones and unspoilt cultures in the far reaches of PNG's pristine outer islands.

Captain Andrew Rigby of PNG Surfaris had the following to say:

"Adding a vessel of this level to our operation is the culmination of over a decade's hard work and long exploration miles that started with our little 50 footer Exo in 2005. U1 is unrivalled in PNG and joining forces with Riccard Riemann and the Baia Sports Fishing operation adds a new dimension to our scope of operations. U1's speed, range and economy allows us to access waves and regions that will blow the global surfing community's mind ".

U1 will be operated 100% compliant to the world leading sustainable surf management practices of Andrew Abel's reverse spiral model and full endorsement of The Surfing Association Of Papua New Guinea.
