Held at the Bolsa Chica Inlet to the Bolsa Chica wetlands with proceeds benefitting the Bolsa Chica Conservancy, Huntington Beach, Jammin' at the Jetty has a unique non-elimination format celebrating the longboarding era of the Sixties.
Particpants were required to bring their own original Sixties longboard and surf in two rounds with their best one wave from each round tabulated to determine the winner.
Jammin' at the Jetty is the first stop of the 2017 Triple Crown of Retro, the second will be the Surfside Seventies July 8th in Surfside, Sunset Beach, with the final stop to be the Bud Llamas HB Eighties contest to end the summer in October.
Following his win in 2016, Shane Jones did it again with great Sixties style, consistently nailing it on the nose to take his second consecutive Jammin' at the Jetty title.
