How do you manage to get the best surfers from Victoria's rugged Surfcoast, slab chargers from the eastern beaches of NSW, friends who’ve never stepped foot on a surfboard, plus one of Australia's most renowned chargers, to all turn up at 13th Beach to surf one-foot slop on foam boards?

Well if you haven't heard by now your going to want to - surfers and local community's gathering to bring you the Mullet Pro and
leave them serious faces at home, get dressed up in your best mullet wig, ya fluro suit or dad’s golden oldie Saturday night get up.

The day sets out to get people to speak up and to let them know they’re not alone and reduce the stigma - it's something Onewave have been doing a long time so we are here to support it with all funds going to wavesofwellness mental wellness surf program.

On top of that yeah it's the funnest surf comp you'll attend, wacky outfits, surfing the 4-5ft foam mullet boards, ripping spinners and floaters then shaking hips to the dj on the beach. Then of course an after-party for prizes and tally up the 5k we raised.

Josh Johnson Baxter was looking to take out his second Mullet Pro but was done by Danny Dal Sutton in a well-deserved final, seeing off Jan Juc’s Tim Stevenson and Banjo Harfield from 13th Beach.

Competition was strong all day with the likes of Casey Egan, Damien Wills and Joshua Ku battling it out.
Thanks to Mullet 13th Beach Boardriders , Onewave and all the sponsors. Good job Vicco!

See you back at Tamarama in Sydney, April 22nd!
