A clash of premier surf clubs is set for March as an 8-person contingent from the Malibu Surfing Association (CA) will travel to Queensland, Australia for the Cricks Jeep Noosa Festival of Surfing.

For the fourth consecutive year, event hosts Noosa Malibu Club and MSA will take to a Team Challenge at the famed surf of First Point.

"It's our privilege to renew the friendship and friendly rivalry with NMC at the Cricks Jeep Noosa Festival of Surfing. Moreso, its our privilege to be able to support our younger surfers with trips of a lifetime to surf in Australia," said John Hinkle, MSA President.

"I'm super stoked! I've always wanted to go to Noosa," said MSA member Ben Samuel. "I'm honored to represent MSA and thankful for the opportunity," he added.

This year's event begins on Sunday, March 10 with surfing across 21 divisions and a schedule of evening entertainment. The Festival, which celebrated 20 years in 2011, concludes the following Sunday, March 16.

At the return, NMC is expected to again send surfers to the MSA Classic Invitational, the United States' most prestigious club surfing contest, to be held September 6-8 at First Point, Malibu.
