The boys at Board Culture surf shop at Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast have got an answer to the extended run of small waves there. They have assembled a range of noserider demo boards for their customers to try out and declared its Loggin' Time!
Its a great opportunity to have a "try before you buy" ride on some great logs like the iconic Noosa 66 and Noserider models from McTavish. There is also the sleek and fast Fliptail Noserider from Laguna Bay (a favourite at Noosa's First Point) and the new Hot Log and Trad Log models by Steve Del Rosso at Clearwater Surfboards.
And for those who love Surftech's durable Tuflite construction, there is the widely liked In The Pink model by Takayama, and the awesome 10ft CJ Nelson model by Pearson Arrow (which was used to win the 2007 World Noseriding Title).
So pop into Board Culture, grab a log and go sliding on the Gold Coast's perfect little pointbreaks.
