DOMINELLI WOMEN'S SURF CLASSIC PREPARES TO SET ALIGHT THE SUTHERLAND SHIRE AGAIN

Female surfing of the highest calibre will return to Cronulla as the Dominelli Women's Surf Classic prepares to set alight the Sutherland Shire on the 27th – 28th of October 2012.

The two-day celebration of women in sport will be taking place at North Cronulla Beach and is set to include all facets of female surfing including: shortboard, longboard, stand up paddle-board and bodyboard. Aside from oceanic events, the Classic will be implementing a range of festival happenings promoting a healthy lifestyle that include:

Free massages for competitors (Beachside Thai Massages) Free judging seminars (Surfing NSW) Beach stalls (Surfing NSW) Free Yoga classes (Pause Yoga & Pilates) Free Zumba classes (Curves Gym) Free surf coaching tips (Surfing NSW) A Ford and Peugeot car display from our main sponsor The Dominelli Group

Surfing NSW CEO Mark Windon says: "Surfing NSW are excited to be involved with the Dominelli Womens's Surf Classic for another year. It's great to see events like this giving back to grassroots women's surfing. I'm sure 2012 will see the event continue to grow in leaps and bounds."

Divisions include: Shortboard – Open Women, over-35's, 20 and under, 16 and under and 13 and under; Longboard – Open Women and over 35's; SUP – Open Women and Bodyboard – Open women. Entries for the mobile event are currently open at Surfing NSW and an event program, daily running schedule and all heat draws will be available from the 25th of October on www.surfingnsw.com.au.
