PHOTOGRAPHER’S NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

Surf World Gold Coast is proud to present a night of surf and ocean photography on the 27th July, 2012.
The night will feature plenty of amazing photos, stories and speeches from the likes of Peter 'Joli' Wilson, Andy Morris and Paget Thompson.

Joli is a master of the masters, is renowned around the world for his iconic photography and also holds great respect from all those who know him, friends and surfing professionals alike. Traveling the globe over the last 30 years, Joli has a vast collection of the very best in surf action and amazing locations. His talent and skill has translated from film to digital and he is senior contributor to most surf publications on the planet.

After years of traveling around exotic surf breaks around the globe, Photographer Paget Thomson and is wife Anita opened up surf art gallery Coastal Visions Photography in Cabarita beach. Paget's own descriptions of and observations on his world travels are intermingled with many of his memorable photographs of waves , ocean art , and exotic landscapes.

Andy Morris is the founding editor of 18seconds digital surfing magazine based in Currumbin, Australia. He's worked for numerous media outlets including Surfline, ESPN (photojournalist) and Surfing Life Magazine (assistant editor). He's been shooting for 11 years. Surfing for 25.

Entry to the event is $10 and doors open from 6.00pm for a 6:30pm start. Beers and a sausage sizzle will be available.
