4th annual Wooden Surfboard Day, on again at Currumbin Alley on Queensland's Gold Coast.
Saturday 4th August: A night to meet and greet over a few beers at the Gold Coast SurfWorld Museum, and a chance to put some faces to names and hear from the three guest speakers: peter Walker, Tony Crimmins and Peter "Mo".
6.30 for 7 pm start, $10 admission to the museum, and it includes one cols drink.
Sunday 5th August: have an early surf, meet in the park from around 8.30 onwards and enjoy a relaxed day with a great display of boards of all shapes and sizes.
Bring your picnic lunch, swap boards and ideas with other wooden board builders, both local and international.
Remember it's a non-competitive, non-commercial gathering of like-minded people.
